Once we have taken a deposit on a jimny we then take it in our only jimny dedicated workshop we're our team thoroughly checks for any work it may need for mot etc. Mainly concentrating on corrosion as jimnys are known for this. We check all 8 bodymounts if there is any welding needed we carry this out followed by a underseal coating. 

We also inspect the 4 wheel drive system for any faults. Usually its just the vacuum pipes which need replacing which we do where ever needed. Once all work is completed we then let the mot tester inspect the Jimny if they are happy with our prep most of the time the Jimny goes straight through its test as our prep is more in detail than the MOT test itself.

Please note certain ware and tare parts go through the visual eye test but may only need changing whenever a sudden failure occurs..

When buying a Jimny you do have to be careful that you don't end up getting something which will cost quite allot on the next mot. Most of the time we do get Jimny's in from customers who have purchased them privately not so long ago and have sent them in to us for a service etc and upon inspection we have to let them know that the rust issues or any mot related work is due or was not carried out properly.

That's why the wait of 3 or 4 weeks for the preparation which we give when purchasing a Jimny from us is well worth it. It ensures you will have something that will be right.

Yes we work on the Gen 4 Jimny - the new shape which a lot of people refer it as the mini G Wagon!

We are seeing a lot of the gen 4 coming in for the rust treatment which is very important and it's the best time to get it done as well. When underneath is all new we tend to apply the clear wax oil which puts a nice film on top for protection against rusting. As the new Jimny has the same chassis base as the older ones we know exactly which areas are prone to rust therefore our rust treatment would be more valuable beneficial for your pride and joy!

The gen 4 has just the front seats and a large open area in back now this large area is too big for an average sized dog and is also very big for the shopping that you may carry.

So something had to be designed to overcome this issue.

Because our idea for a bespoke dog cage for the Gen 3 was successful we wanted to come up with something for the Gen 4 which was a divider to fit in the middle so you could transport a dog/cat in one side and leave the other for shopping etc. And we hit the nail right in middle. Our divider is made out and designed to match the original bulkhead that Suzuki install behind the front seats.

Many Gen 4 owners who are really happy with this and we're on board with this new idea!

There is also a dog gate panel for the gen4 which fits right at the back next to tailgate this is made to match also and its handy to calm the dogs down before letting them out. Tailgate can be opened while the dogs are sat inside waiting for the cage door to be opened.
